Sony revealed a new TV feature in its upcoming Bravia line that will be welcomed by football fans. “Football Mode” will let you cancel out the commentator’s voice and leave you with the sweet stadium sounds. It heavily depends on the quality of the audio stream and how it compares to the acoustics of the Sao Paolo stadium where Sony did there testing.
This is a really exciting new feature and gives the user more options, instead of muting the TV or choosing between 2 really annoying commentators.
If you think that touch control mobile gaming is taking too much out of the screen and doesn’t give the player enough control then let me introduce you to the GameKlip.
The GameKlip lets you physically attach a PS3 controller to your smartphone and with software like Sisxaxis Controller you can connect your controller to your phone if it is supported.
Getting everything up and running isn’t too difficult but isn’t plug-and-play either. For android touch enabled games you would need to configure each game separately. And for emulator is just setting up the controller in the emulator settings.
The downside of the GameKlip is the entry price is high. You have to own a PS3 controller for this to work, and if you don’t want to keep pairing your controller with your phone and console regularly then you should have an extra controller which costs by itself and add to that the cost of the GameKlip.
The bottom line is if your are really accustomed to the PS3 controller and would love to use it as part of your Android gaming then the GameKlip is for you.
Figured I might as well post it now since I’m on a music roll! Anyways, been wanting to post this for a while as something “Remixed” by me slightly with increasing BPM (Beats per Minute) and so on, but still managed to get decent responses within just a few days. I believe this is kinda new in the Kuwaiti blogging side, but hey, as they say, blend in or stand out, I decided to stand out in this case. WOHOO! So here it, a track by Armin Van Buuren – Waiting for the Night (feat. Fiora)
Yup, a new weekend and a new song! My occasional alarm ringtone too. Enjoy~
Yeah, thought I might as well add an initial at the beginning of the post title for the people to recognize who’s posting! Creativity ftw!
So I’m just linking something I’ve been listening to it lately, expect a lot of stuff to be linked regarding music in different varieties probably. Enjoy~
It’s just around a corner, if you consider a month to be that short that is. However, it’s still close to me!
So just in case that a new thingy for them, here’s a simple breakdown taken shamefully from its Wikipedia page:
“Google I/O is an annual developer-focused conference held by Google in San Francisco, California. Google I/O features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more.”
So the event is happening on the 15th-17th of May and apparently, it only took 49 minutes to be exact for the event to be sold out for the $900 priced tickets. Which is not very surprising considering the scope of the conference itself. But for me, I’m just crossing my fingers to see other editions of Google Glass with a release date would make my day, heck even my year. Now despite many controversies about the “Goggles” themselves seeing as a possible invasion of privacy..etc I’m still thinking it’s going to be big and isn’t going to take much time for them to grow popular between our middle aged demographic people.
Now Google themselves has been giving away and selecting people “almost” randomly but of course it isn’t free as once you have been chosen you have to pay $1500 if you wanted to get the goggles. This “campaign” basically started around since late Feb. I believe till about mid March for people to submit their doings and wishes in the hash-tag of “#IfIhadGlass” and you just get replied back by Google Glass’ Twitter Account if you have been selected and I believe just a few hours ago if I’m not mistaken, specs of the goggles themselves started to come out and unveil as people started to receive them by now. So here’s a quick breakdown of the specifications of the explorer edition of the goggles:
Adjustable nosepads and durable frame fits any face.
Extra nosepads in two sizes.
High resolution display is the equivalent of a 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away.
Photos – 5 MP
Videos – 720p
Bone Conduction Transducer
Wi-Fi – 802.11b/g
12 GB of usable memory, synced with Google cloud storage. 16 GB Flash total.
One full day of typical use. Some features, like Hangouts and video recording, are more battery intensive.
Included Micro USB cable and charger.
While there are thousands of Micro USB chargers out there, Glass is designed and tested with the included charger in mind. Use it and preserve long and prosperous Glass use.
Any Bluetooth-capable phone.
The MyGlass companion app requires Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or higher. MyGlass enables GPS and SMS messaging.
Hoping to see more info comes out and more real life testing and practicality of the goggles themselves. *Crossing fingers for early release date*
It seems that it was answered/posted before by Google but I’ve gotten a reply for them regarding people wearing glasses already and how would they approach it, and I’ve gotten some good news which made me wanna pursue it even more.

Yup. I’m here to keep you guys entertained while “N” starts to be doing more than a monthly post. Or who knows, might end up taking over this blog should he retire. WE WILL NEVER KNOW!
Anyways, I’m Trance, pleased to meet you all. I’m the uplifted and multi- interest and hobbies type of guy who’s going to be posting a lot of stuff, I hope, as long I do find lots of “interesting” stuff. They may be in any category whether it was music, video games, random news..etc. So pretty much the mini-version of “N”, till I start taking over..I mean…getting used to the blogging thing back again. I usually write lengthy posts in general when I get carried away, but for now, I’ll resist the urge to do so and just keep it simple so you guys won’t hate me on the first day.
So that was pretty much an introductory post, hope to see more involvement and comments from you guys here. Catch you peeps in another post~
P.S: Will update social media Networking links once I get a proper time with “N” again should it be needed. And by needed I mean “N” has got to stop slacking and do it already. ;p
P.P.S: If you thought I was kidding about writing serious “non-very useful” long posts, here’s a sample during the good times:
Smelling is believing, or at least that is what google wants you to believe.
Google released their April Fool’s prank for this year and it’s called Google Nose.
Pressing the “Try Google Nose” button takes you to some random yet interesting smell choices. I tried it a couple of time and got a “diaper” and a “wet dog” results. you can press the “smell” button and you can start smelling that beautiful aroma you have chosen. Of course the is no smell.
I love those annual April Fools stuff Google do each year. here is a list of previous pranks. [Link]
Earlier today, I went to the P2bK village in Mishref. What is different this time around is instead of using one of the International Fair Ground’s hall. They built a whole village with an old Kuwaiti style.
I loved the idea of a whole village, especially after last years overcrowded event. Which also mean that they allowed single guys in.
What I loved
The idea and the design of the place was great. Some of the booths there were great showing some great stuff. and they belonged to small Kuwaiti startups. The usual food places were there but also some other stuff.
What I hated
Some international franchises had booths there. one of my gripes from last year’s event. Garrett Popcorn, Ruby Tuesday and Starbucks are just some of the Proud To Be Kuwaiti international franchises.
Also, The village should be open from 10am to 10pm. But when I arrived there at 11:30 most of the stores were closed and people who were there earlier told me that when they got there at 10 there was virtually nothing open. Before I left at 2pm some stores opened up while other closed. So it might be impossible to be there and see everything.
