So Microsoft’s press conference ended a while ago, and here is what you should know about it:

Games:

Games maybe the least important thing they talked about during the press conference, but still good to see.

Rockband: The Beatles

That was the first thing Microsoft showed to day, with going to be released with 10 tracks:
1) I Saw Her Standing There
2) I Want to Hold Your Hand
3) I Feel Fine
4) Day Tripper
5) Taxman
6) I Am The Walrus
7) Back in the USSR
Octopus’s Garden
9) Here Comes The Sun
10) Get Back

then the release of their Abby Road album will follow shortly after release.

Tony Hawk: Ride

A Skateboarding Peripheral filled with accelerometers and sensors that will make any skating enthusiast happy.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Showing some gameplay today of what is looking like a really action-packed game, with lots you can do.

This is a must have title, like the predecessor.

Final Fantasy XIII:

Well a big Sony franchise crossing to the XBOX is major news for Microsoft. So they are showing some gameplay.

Joyride:

This is a free Xbox Live game with multiplayer. [Xbox Live]

Crackdown 2:

Crackdown is a GTA-like game with a twist, Showed a trailer. [Xbox]

Left 4 Dead 2:

The best multiplayer game of last year is having a sequel, L4D2 is coming this November. [Xbox and PC]

Splinter Cell: Conviction:

This started as a MGS answer for the Xbox console, it had very good success during the years.

The latest installment looks like is going to live up to the franchise name. They showed A trailer and some gameplay.

Forza Motor Sport 3:

Halo 3 ODST:

The new addition to the Halo franchise showing intro and some gameplay. The Game is on schedule for September release.[xbox]

Halo Reach:

Another game by Bungie, but not much more info on this game. Will be released sometime 2010.[xbox]

Alan Wake:

This is part 2 of the Alone in The Dark game, continuing the search of Alan’s wife while he narrates the game.[xbox]

Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Now Thats Major News, bringing Hideo Kojima onstage to announce the most wanted franchise to be played on the Xbox.

But Mr. Kojima points out that the game has nothing to do with Solid Snake, and we can see from the screenshot in says “lightning bolt action” not the usual “tactical espionage action” we are used to.

XBOX Live:

This had some very good news.

Project Natal:

This is absolutely revolutionary, getting rid of the controller and making you the controller, make very good interaction with game. From the demo video, it looks amazing.

It opens up a whole new kind of gaming (they where showing off a fighting game). Scan your own gear too.

They showed “a boy called Milo” where Milo tracks the women talking to him, answer questions and shows emotion. He even recognized a drawing a color.
