After writing my XBOX 360 list, I found out that almost all the games getting released on both Xbox and PS3 are multi-platform games. So I decided to change the games in the PS3 list. So this might not be as good as the Xbox list but most of the games on both lists are going to be released on both systems.

1. The King of Fighters XII

In celebration of its landmark 15th Anniversary, The King of Fighters XII — one of the last great arcade 3-on-3 fighter games — is about to get even greater. For the first time in its history, this ultimate fighting game has undergone a complete graphical overhaul. KOFXII features 22 gorgeous hand-drawn 2D characters from SNK’s arcade history. All sprites used over the past 14 years have been dropped and replaced with new 2D high-definition, high-resolution sprites on detailed backgrounds. KOFXII aims to knock players out with new gameplay elements including critical counter attacks, Sousai (deadlock) counters and guard attacks, and the introduction of new online elements.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2

A downloadable edition or the classic fighter, Marvel VS Capcom 2 pits some of Capcom’s familiar faces against a host of Marvel Comic’s biggest names in explosive three-on-three team battles. The game features the biggest roster of challengers to ever square off in a Capcom fighting game, a total of 56 combined brawlers from both the Capcom and Marvel universes. Players can mix and match from both worlds in order to create their own ideal three man/woman/robot/monster team-up.

Wolfenstein
