John Stewart vs. Cross Fire

We all know John Stewart for his late night show “The Daily Show”. It’s mostly about politics but with a comedic twist. It’s very fun to watch, even though I don’t care about politics, especially US politics.

What you might not know about Mr. Stewart is that he was the reason CNN took their famous show “Cross Fire” off the air, I kid you not. When asked about the cancellations, CNN President, Jonathan Klein said, referencing Stewart’s appearance on the show:

“I think he made a good point about the noise level of these types of shows, which does nothing to illuminate the issues of the day.”
