The PS3 slim is being sold for 69KD by the official dealer in Kuwait (Supplying Store Company) at their Avenues branch only while supplies last.
This must be a PAL system with 120GB HDD, that can play all PS3 games and most Bluray movies. But it wont play your existing DVD collection or region locked Bluray movies.
This is a great buy if you want the system for playing games mainly.

69 KD only?!?!? That’s strange! I didn’t know it was that cheap! I’m sure it doesn’t have backward compatibility then which means you probably wont be able to play old games.
Miss Good Egg : it doesn’t have backward compatibility , and for gaming I think its a good buy, but for blu ray movies you are restricted to pal versions. Now we are waiting for a slim version of the xbox to compete with Sony!
lol @ xbox slip version. I think they should start manufacturing XBOX slim wires too! The first thing that shocked me was how fat their wires are compared to the delicate and sophisticated wires of the Playstation consoles!
Miss Good Egg : Sony gave up on backward compatibility back with the 80GB second revision (the one that came with a dualshock controller) and didn’t even hint on bringing it back. So if you want back compatibility, buy a used 60GB PS3, thats your best bet.
As for the cabling, I totally agree. I have Launch Xbox 360 the doesn’t come with an HDMI port so I have to use the stupid component wires and the huge power brick. thats just ridiculous. They need a re-design but it’s doubtful with NATAL coming next year, I think thats when we will see a new Xbox.
And what happened to your 360? did you bring it back to life?
