Kuwait, the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ fourth-largest producer, projected a 14-billion dollar deficit in its budget while calculating oil income at a highly conservative price of 35 dollars a barrel.

Kuwait has forecasted a post budget surplus of up to 22.3 billion dollars. Still though, there is no decent healthcare, education, infrastructure, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

I leave you with the 4 fellows from Liverpool below. And no, its not Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Jose Reina and Dirk Kuyt.

It’s sad that we have all this money and not much to show for it. A study showed that as a country, Kuwait spends one of the highest amounts per student on education (government school); however, our education level is almost comparable to Mozambique. There was a time when government schools curriculum were so powerful that it was kind of 3ayb to go to private schools.

What are we going to do about that?

We have a major problem or somebody doesn’t know how to do math.. with so much money we are in so much debt and still we don’t have any decent projects… There has not been any decent project in Kuwait for over 15 years and Kuwait Airways is one a straight line to a plane crashing at the rate the Government is holding on to it instead of selling it or refinancing it..
