AKA Hotel – Times Square

After reading Mark’s post about wanting to go to New York and asking for a good place to stay, I noticed that I didn’t post much about anything other than Shake Shack when I was there.

So I’ll be doing some short posts about NY, first will be about the hotel I stayed in, AKA New York.

AKA Lobby

This is not a big hotel, as you can see from the photo above this is the lobby+ reception area. It looks cool but its also small. The hotel is located at 123 West 44th st.  which is very close to Times Square. In fact, it was a 1 minute walk to the middle of Times Square as you can see from the map below.

The room was amazing, it had a soft modern look to it, not too fancy but looked great. it also had a small kitchen and a huge refrigerator. And the price was excellent for something with that location and that spacious.

    I stayed at Paramount Hotel in Times Square next to marriot and it was the worst hotel i ever been into.

    next time im going to stay in W Hotel or you hotel :)

      I stayed in the one bedroom suite, it costs $310 a night. They also have the executive suite which costs around $265 a night. when I was searching for a place to stay last summer, it was one hell of a bargain.

    Lovely hotel! I was in NY couple of months ago, I stayed at Park Central a very average hotel, but it was very near Time square and the location of the hotel was great, yet not the service.

    Very nice! Thanks for the post, I want to check out this hotel when I have a chance in NY! Its really spacious for a hotel in NY, usually they are a bit on the tight side!

    I do enjoy day trips to NYC..If we do stay overnight..I like staying at the Mercer..

    But the best part of NYC with friends is checking out new boutique hotels every time we go

    You reminded me of leaving me alone in San Diego and you are enjoying that hotel alone.( 3alaik bel3afia). I think it’s one of a kind in NY .
