Hurricane Alex

Since yesterday the weather was unstable here in Houston. Alex was upgraded from a topical storm to a hurricane yesterday as wind speeds increased dramatically. It’s really raining heavily now wish it rained half as much in Kuwait.

Grown Ups – Movie Review

Me and Zidaneoo went to see Grown Ups yesterday as our first movie in Houston, The movie is packed with all the big names of comedy as Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Salma Hayek. But that didn’t make the movie exceptional it is a good movie that started pretty stronlgly but the tempo came doen as the movie went along. Its filled with one-liners that really made us laugh.

The Green Hornet – Trailer

I just read Marzouq’s top 2011 SciFi movie list. I mentioned Super 8 before and I just saw The Green Hornet’s trailer yesterday and it looks good.

The Green Hornet is going to be released January 2011.

The 15 Hour Drive

On Saturday, at exactly 11:15am, we started our road trip from Albuquerque New Mexico to Houston Texas as we have this week off till after the 4th of July weekend.

The trip took exactly 15 hours including our short stops. we arrived at Houston dead tiered at 3:15am local time. We barely could keep our eyes open. We just got back to hour regular sleeping hours and we are good to go. I met up with Zidaneoo here are planing to watch a lot of movies.

iPhone 4 Released: Quick Hands-On

Just went to the Apple store to play around with the new iPhone 4. It feels good in the hand, very responsive with the new A4 processor and 512MB RAM. The camera is on par with the Nexus One camera that I think is one of the best 5MP cameras around.

The line here in Albuquerque New Mexico was pretty long. There are two lines, one for purchases and one is for reservation. both were long.

As I talked to one of the sales representatives at Apple, He said there might not be enough iPhones for everybody and its likely that the will get Sold out the first day. But good news is that they have the iPad in stock

Jonah Hex – Movie Review

I have nothing to say about this movie other than it was really bad. I’m giving it a 1 star cause one of the guys says that its the best movie this summer so far :s

Rugby Ad in the Czech Republic

With whats going in the world cup I can’t say that I disagree. Some of the players really do act like girls.

Transformers: War of Cybertron Released

I mentioned this game in a previous post saying that in might be on of the most anticipated summer games this year on any system. But I might be bias cause I am the biggest Transformers fan.

The game is released today here in the US, no idea when or if its already available in Kuwait. I will get this game as soon as I get back. No review been issued yet (usually that means its a bad game but not necessarily) will update this post when I come across some.

Egyptian Gets Smacked By An Algerian Fan

I just got this email from a friend. Even though it is sad to see what happened a few months ago still raging on between governments and its citizens of these two countries, but whats in this strip of photos is just hilarious.

So whats going on? During the world cup match between Algeria and Slovenia. As Robert Koren scored Slovenia’s goal in the 79th minute against Algeria, a lone egyptian fan in the stands started cheering right next to the Algerian fans. On of those fans just couldn’t control himself.

The A-Team – Movie Review

ME and the guys went to see The A-Team yesterday. After seeing the Karate Kid, it was a blast from the past weekend. The Movie had a pretty good score and based on one of my favorite show as a kid. So I had high expectations.

The movie follows the roughly the same insane vibe as the early 80′s TV shows with outrageous plans, stunts and its filled with comedy. Keep in mind this is not a proper action movie. Its just outrageous and unbelievable so don’t go to this movie expecting a believable storyline and escapes. But it was very entertaining.
