Dell Streak: Hands-On

The Dell Streak is an android device that got released last year, June of 2010 to be exact. A friend just got one and I managed to play around with it.

The device seems well built with a nice 480×800 5″ screen that I think is a bit too large for my taste.

The device is also pretty slim, as you can see in the photos compared to an iPhone 4.

But as for the internals there isn’t anything special, it might have been a year ago but now with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II being released next week in the UK.

The Dell Streak is being sold in X-Cite for KD196.

A Parody by the Onion News Network video about the new Fast 5 movie. The new installment on the Fast and the Furious series.
The movie currently has a rating of 8.1 on IMDB. It will be released this weekend in the USA and next week here in Kuwait (according to Cinescape’s website).
Still going to watch it.

Drunken Monkeys

I came across this BBC documentary video showing the similarities between humans and monkeys. Even the similarities it their drinking habits. There isn’t anything funnier than a drunken monkey.

The Sidekick Academy Wins 2 Medals in The World Pro 2011 Championship

During the last weekend. The World Pro 2011 championship was held at Abu Dhabi. The guys from the Sidekick Academy participated in the competition and won 2 Jiu-Jitsu bronze medals. Well done guys.

Sergio Ramos Drops the King’s Cup

After yesterdays win against their rivals Barcelona. Real Madrid player were celebrating their new trophy the “Copa Del Rey”. During the celebrations, Ramos seems to drop the Cup and the bus runs over it. Talk about clumsy/unlucky.

Apple Suing Samsung? Really?

Apple are suing Samsung for infringing on patent for the original iPhone design. Apple are claiming that Samsung’s Galaxy line is a straight copy from their work and the Galaxy S is just too similar the the iPhone/iPhone 3G/3GS.

The funny thing is that Steve Jobs in an interview done way back in 1994 (back when apple were the underdog) said that “We have always been shameless about stealing great ideas”.

Also, LG also complained when the original iPhone was introduced that Apple is is trying to copy the LG Prada. A device that was first announced on December 12, 2006.
