Brazil vs Saudi Arabia, Confederations Cup 1999. This game has taught me “Its not over until the fat lady sings” the commentator gets a little carried away when Al-Otaibi scores the equalizing 2nd goal.

I swear that ever since this game I never made fun of other team supporters during the game, and waited till the game ended before I point and laugh at the defeated.

Its a life lesson, don’t get cocky and celebrate pre-maturely. Just ask Man Utd fans last week……. ZING!!

The Japanese come up with the weirdest games. having a bunch of players wearing binoculars on the field is just hilarious.

Football Videos

First we have Cléverson scoring a magnificent goal for FK Partizan against FK Hajduk Kula. The guy is brazilian but just filed for a Serbian citizenship.

Secondly, we have Mehmet Scholl talking on some german channel I think. At first i thought that he was having a seizure or something, but then I realizes that that he was just being cautious.

UEFA Chapions League 2010/2011 Draw Results

The draw just finished and we are going to see some interesting matches this season. The group of death (G) Milan, Madrid, Ajax and Auxerre is just frightening. Also interesting is seeing Rubin back in the same group with Barcelona.

Watch The Premier League On Your Phone

I’ve previously posted about Abu Dhabi’s online Premier League subscription and how awesome it is. I just wanted to add that you can also watch any match on the go on your phone too, If you have an Android phone that is.

Abu Dhabi Premier League Online

I subscribed to Abu Dhabi’s online subscription since I didn’t want to put another receiver under my TV and it not as convenient as having a card that you can take with you anywhere. And because I spend most of my tie on my laptop or PC it was a no brainer.

I used the website on many occasions. I subscribed saturday before the games but the account activated the next day (or late in the evening the same day not sure) and managed to watch the extra-long highlights of the yesterdays matches which were 45 mins long so you don’t miss a thing.

As for live viewing I watched Chelsea vs West Brom, Liverpool vs Arsenal and Man U vs New Castle all were great. And if you have a the bandwidth for it the quality automatically adjust (ala Netflix) to some very nice looking video.

Whats missing though is the short highlights that has just the goals, they might be there but I haven’t looked thoroughly enough and the ability to change the commentator language, from what I can see at the moment there is no why to do that at the moment.

Abu Dhabi online subscription is highly recommended even if you already have bought the receiver due to its shear and utter awesomeness

Amazing Penalty

This amazing Penalty was scored at the U19′s European Championships. The goal was scored in the Spain-Italy Game that ended 3-0 to Spain and was scored by Calvente. It was a very weird penalty, but it was amazing!

The Only Way to Save Face

So this is why most people who hate football hate football, ll the acting is just frustrating.

The Final

I might be the happiest football fan in the world at the moment. I cheer for both Netherlands and Spain and as you know both have made it to final making the final a bitter/sweet experience as only one team can win. Should be a very good game though as both teams play beautiful football.

Just make sure you are free Sunday night 6:30PM GMT (9:30PM local) to watch the final. Also don’t forget that the 3rd place match is on Saturday at the same time between Uruguay and Germany.
