Sneezies

Almost everyone talks about how the iPhone App store has been revolutionary with all their different applications. From a GPS to Skype to WordPress to Shazam to Google Earth to Facebook to every kind of game created. You can find it all in the Apple App store on iTunes. I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I love the simple games that you can play for days and weeks until you download a new one, such as Fieldrunners or Flight Control. My newest addiction is called Sneezies. A simple game where you drop sneezing powder which in turn touches another “sneezy” and makes it incredibly enough, sneeze! The chain reaction makes it sneeze and burst the other sneezies, with every level a target of the amount of sneezies you need to burst. A fun game if you dont want alot of thinking.
Available for a whopping $0.99 in the App Store, or you can go cheap and get the Lite version for free.

Zero Punctuation – Wii Sports Resort

Retro Gamer – The Simpsons Arcade

My first look at a retro game.
This week’s title is:

This was one of the best Beat ‘em up games ever released, what killed me that it was never released on any console except for the PC and Commodore 64. So I ended up spending A LOT of money on the arcade. It would have been a much cheaper option for me to buy one of the systems back then.

This would really look cool in a gaming room, for any Resident Evil/Left 4 Dead fans especially.
I would imagine its pretty easy to assemble. Great idea though.
Top Upcoming PS3 Games Of 2009

After writing my XBOX 360 list, I found out that almost all the games getting released on both Xbox and PS3 are multi-platform games. So I decided to change the games in the PS3 list. So this might not be as good as the Xbox list but most of the games on both lists are going to be released on both systems.
1. The King of Fighters XII
(July 28, 2009) PS3/360
In celebration of its landmark 15th Anniversary, The King of Fighters XII — one of the last great arcade 3-on-3 fighter games — is about to get even greater. For the first time in its history, this ultimate fighting game has undergone a complete graphical overhaul. KOFXII features 22 gorgeous hand-drawn 2D characters from SNK’s arcade history. All sprites used over the past 14 years have been dropped and replaced with new 2D high-definition, high-resolution sprites on detailed backgrounds. KOFXII aims to knock players out with new gameplay elements including critical counter attacks, Sousai (deadlock) counters and guard attacks, and the introduction of new online elements.
Michael Jackson Tribute

Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) is one of those things that I follow, it reminds me of the good (and bad) old days.

Since we are almost half way through of 2009, and having E3 ending with some great news. It’s a good time to make a this list.
I will also do a PS3 list soon. Most of the games are multi-platform anyway.
Games are sorted by release date:
Batman: Arkham Asylum
(August 25, 2009) PS3/360
Lets face it, super hero games always sucked. But Batman: Arkham Asylum is on its way to be the best superhero based game ever released (thats not a very high bar to start with) but using the Unreal 3 Engine looks a very good choice for this game.
Conan The Mario

A few days ago I came across the image above, it was all over the net. The Mario image is edited, its a bunch of screen-grabs put together to fill the shapes of the background. But since it was Conan’s first week, it made some news.
But on Friday’s show Conan acknoledged his SUper Mario background, Making all the internet geeks happy.
