Batman Arkham Asylum is one of the most anticipated games of the year and was featured in my upcoming games list, is now available 2 full days before it’s release in the states.

The game has been reviewed by he major sites like IGN and Gametrailers and got 9.3 and 9.0 respectively.

I’ve downloaded the game demo a couple of days ago and I really loved it. I’m going to get this game today. It’s available at the E-Games Store located in Discovery Mall’s basement.

Halo Movie in The Works?

Halo

It seems that Halo, the top XBox franchise and almost every PlayStation owner’s envy, will be coming to the big screen. After talks fell through a few months back, its a possibility again, with names like the legendary Steven Spielberg behind the project. I just cant wait for this to be confirmed.

What makes the Halo franchise better than most of the other FPS’s (First-Person-Shooter) out there is the story is very well written. And it will make a great movie if it gets a decent screen writer.

The Ultimate Gaming Machine

We have heard of all the retro gaming consoles from N. and how he is always talking about the nintendo’s, sega’s, atari’s etc.. But what he does not know is that people like me skipped a couple of generations of megadrives and nintendo’s because we owned the Amiga!  Personally I owned the compact Amiga 600, but the classic and most common one was the 500 pictured above.  The games at the time were incomparable to any other gaming platform, whether it was graphics or playability. Lets take a walk down memory lane… Continue Reading

Sneezies

Almost everyone talks about how the iPhone App store has been revolutionary with all their different applications. From a GPS to Skype to WordPress to Shazam to Google Earth to Facebook to every kind of game created.  You can find it all in the Apple App store on iTunes.  I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I love the simple games that you can play for days and weeks until you download a new one, such as Fieldrunners or Flight Control.  My newest addiction is called Sneezies.  A simple game where you drop sneezing powder which in turn touches another “sneezy” and makes it incredibly enough, sneeze! The chain reaction makes it sneeze and burst the other sneezies, with every level a target of the amount of sneezies you need to burst. A fun game if you dont want alot of thinking.

Available for a whopping $0.99 in the App Store, or you can go cheap and get the Lite version for free.

Retro Gamer – The Simpsons Arcade

My first look at a retro game.

This week’s title is:

The Simpsons Arcade Game.jpg

This was one of the best Beat ‘em up games ever released, what killed me that it was never released on any console except for the PC and Commodore 64. So I ended up spending A LOT of money on the arcade. It would have been a much cheaper option for me to buy one of the systems back then.
