Games Looking Forward To
23 Apr 2010 1 CommentCrysis 2
(Q4 ‘10)
A sequel to the 2007 PC smash hit “Crysis”, the only game that I’ve completed on my PC during the last 5 years. Crysis 2 is going to be a hit for sure. Or at least I hope.
Transformers: War For Cybertron
(Q3 ‘10)
I’ve talked about my love for this transformers game before, I’m really psyched about this game and from what we have seen so far, this 3rd person shooter is a definite buy for me.

Marvel vs Capcom 3
(Q4 ‘10)
10 years after the last installment of this game – Marvel vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes) on the Dreamcast the best consol ever- fans of the crossover 2D fighting game will have something to cheer about.
Gears Of War 3
(Q2 ‘11)
Gears of War always had excellent trailers, I mean do you remember the original GOW Mad World trailer? or even GOW2? This is no different and looks the it will conclude the trilogy.
Nintendo DSTT Card
18 Apr 2010 4 CommentsI tweeted 2 days ago about going to Al-Rihab complex in Hawali. I went there with one goal in mind, and that is getting what they call a Nintendo DS R4/DSTT card that will allow me to play DS downloaded roms.
I have a trip coming and usually use my PSP for my onboard gaming. But with the lack of any good games during the last year for the PSP I decided to go with the DS.
After investigating the matter with a reader (thanx Mohammed) I went there and with out much looking around found what I was looking for. The card by itself was 5KD, with a 4GB micro SD card preloaded with lame games is 10KD (I needed the micro SD card).
Thanks Mohammed
Game Rush
29 Mar 2010 3 Comments![]()
A lot of games were pushed from last years 4th quarter to this years 1st and 2nd quarters to avoid the congestion and the good games that were being released in the same period, namely Modern Warfare 2.
But its been only 3 months and the number and quality of the games that have been released is ridiculous. There are a ton of games that I would like to try but don’t have the time.
The games that are on my want list are:
- Bayonetta
- Mass Effect 2
- Heavy Rain
- Dantes Inferno
Bio Shock 2- Battlefield: Bad Company 2
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Yakuza 3
- God of War 3
- Supreme Commander 2
- Just Cause 2
You can see my dilemma.
Apple Shooter – Game
23 Mar 2010 1 CommentThis is a really amusing flash game I recommend trying out. Its even more amusing when you lose. A very good time waster.
The “Playstation Move” Ad
18 Mar 2010 No Comments
An advertisement for Sony’s upcoming motion controller that they call “Move” was just released and there are some references to Microsoft and Nintendo in it. Overall the advert in my opinion is pretty good and the points that its making are legitimate. It seems that Sony are taking a play right out of Apple’s book.
The references are:
- "Because real boxers don’t hit like this” <– Wii Sports/Boxing
- "It’s also got what we in the future call buttons, which turn out to be pretty important to those handful of millions of people who enjoy playing shooters, platformers, well, anything that doesn’t involve catching a big red ball." <– Microsoft’s Project Natal
- "C’mon, who wants to pretend their hand is a gun. What is this, third grade? Pew, pew, pew.”<– Microsoft’s Project Natal

Sketch-A-Move
15 Mar 2010 3 CommentsSketch-a-move is a concept for a toy car that allows you to explore the unique relationships between small surface doodles and actual physical movements. If you draw a circle on the top of the toy car, it will move in a circle. If you draw a complicated spiral, the car will move in a spiral.
New Nintendo DSi Game Concept
7 Mar 2010 No CommentsThis is a really cool use of the DSi’s camera, should be interesting.
This is Rittai Kakushi e Attakoreda, a DSiWare game that makes brilliant use of the Nintendo DSi’s built-in cameras to control an in-game camera that lets the player explore a 3D diorama to find hidden objects.
