Legend of The Guardians
Acclaimed filmmaker Zack Snyder makes his animation debut with the fantasy family adventure "Legend of the Guardians," based on the beloved books by Kathryn Lasky. The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father’s epic stories of the Guardians of Ga’Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father’s favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd’s jealousy has terrible consequences–causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga’Hoole–Soren’s only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.
After Life
After a horrific car accident, Anna (Christina Ricci) wakes up to find the local funeral director Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson) preparing her body for her funeral. Confused, terrified and feeling still very much alive, Anna doesn’t believe she’s dead, despite the funeral director’s reassurances that she is merely in transition to the afterlife. Eliot convinces her he has the ability to communicate with the dead and is the only one who can help her. Trapped inside the funeral home, with nobody to turn to except Eliot, Anna is forced to face her deepest fears and accept her own death. But Anna’s grief—stricken boyfriend Paul (Justin Long) still can’t shake the nagging suspicion that Eliot isn’t what he appears to be. As the funeral nears, Paul gets closer to unlocking the disturbing truth, but it could be too late; Anna may have already begun to cross over the other side. With an unrelenting edge of menace, "After.Life" is a stylish psychological thriller which provocatively questions the line between life and death.
Iron Man 2
In the sequel, Mickey Rourke will play Whiplash, a character that includes elements from that comic book villain and Crimson Dynamo, another Russian baddie. Sam Rockwell will play Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and a rival of industrialist Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, being played by a returning Robert Downey Jr.

The Oscars are in just a few hours, and I thought that ruining the ending of 50 movies including the 10 that are nominated for best Picture is the best way to go.
Warning:
They are called spoilers because they are going to spoil the movie. so if you are a movie junkie you probably wouldn’t want to watch this video. The only people that should watch it are those who don’t give a damn about the endings.

Cop Out
Two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter’s upcoming wedding, and Paul (Tracy Morgan) is his "partner-against-crime" whose preoccupation with his wife’s alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball.
Cop out should be released in Kuwait (according to Cinescape’s) in March 11th.
The Karate Kid
In Columbia Pictures’ "The Karate Kid," 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) could’ve been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother’s (Taraji P. Henson) latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying—and the feeling is mutual—but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre’s feelings make an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. In the land of kung fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts "the karate kid" on the floor with ease. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has nowhere to turn but maintenance man Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), who is secretly a master of kung fu. As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is not about punches and parries, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will be the fight of his life.
Yesterday me and a couple of friends wanted to watch a movie and get a bite to eat. looking through the list of movies over at CineScape’s website there were only 2 options. The Wolfman andFrom Paris With Love. We chose The Wolfman just because it had Anthony Hopkins in it.
Man were we disappointed, the movie had nothing special, its your typical werewolf movie, no twists and turns. No surprises what so ever. I really had high hopes and expectations for this movie.
Sir Anthony Hopkins, you let me down.
I got a little cheered up after having a chili burger from Johnny Rockets though
That’s 2 movies out of a possible 5 from my listso far. Better get my act together and start catching up.
Being Sunday morning i was able to sleep in, i woke up and flipped thru my iphone and was face to face with Flixster. I decided to check out which were the nearest movie theaters with any decent movies, and stumbled upon Shutter Island. Flixster gave it a 70% but i decided to try it out nevertheless. I used to hate Leonardo Dicaprio, but after such movies as The Aviator, Catch me if You Can, Blood Diamond, Body of Lies and The Departed more recently, he has become one of the actors i am enjoying most in movies. So we went off to the movie theater but decided to eat as we were an hour early for the movie. We went to a Brazilian grill restaraunt which was right by the cinema, and it was awful. Its called Tucano’s grill, and it seemed like the meat was from actual Tucan’s, the bird that is. Anyway back to the movie.
The movie is around 2hrs and 18mins. The only way i can describe it is delusional, hallucinating and utterly genius. It drags you on for almost 2 hours thinking that you know whats going on, when the last 10 minutes it changes totally. Its not like a Sixth Sense kind of ending, but you have the feeling all the way through that something is not right, but its totally different than what you imagine. Of course there will be parts of the movie where you might think it is slow and too easy to guess, but only the ending does justice to the movie. Basically it is about a US marshall (Dicaprio), who is investigating an escaped murderess from a remote island (Shutter Island) which is a hospital for the criminally insane. Martin Scorsese again does not fail to amaze with this plot and ending. IMDB gave it an 8.5, and for their standards that is pretty high. Great movie, with lots of twists and turns and worth the watch.
We all saw the movie Avatar right, we all saw the wonderful world of Pandora and its beautiful colors, inhabitants and creatures that it took James Cameroon 15 years to make. Well not everything in the movie is fictional, as you can see from the pictures below.
The picture above is of the flying Toruks from the movie Avatar and the picture below is from Indonesia.

Oliver Stones sequel to his first movie Wall Street comes 23 years later, but better late than never. The movie should be released by April 23rd.
The film is set 23 years after the first film, in June 2008, and Gordon Gekko has just been released from prison. Despite his initial attempts to warn Wall Street of the forthcoming economic downturn and stock market crash, no one believes him due to his reduced standing in the financial world. Gekko decides to re-focus his attention on rebuilding his relationship with his estranged daughter, Winnie. Due to their time apart, and the fact that Winnie blames Gekko for her brother Rudy’s suicide, she avoids any contact with him. At the same time, the mentor of young Wall Street trader Jacob unexpectedly dies, and Jacob suspects his hedge fund manager of being involved in the death. Jacob, who is Winnie’s fiance, seeks revenge and agrees to Gekko’s offer of help, in return for which Jacob agrees to help Gekko with Winnie.
