Nexus One – First Impression
15 Jan 2010 17 CommentsToday I went and got my Nexus One form DHL. The device has a very solid build as you might expect from HTC slightly thinner than the iPhone but has a larger 3.7” screen. The device is multi-touch capable but Google is not supporting the feature nobody knows exactly why , but there are other apps that do. The 1Ghz processor does wonders for the device, but will test it more extensively for the review that should be up by Sunday.
More pics and visual size comparisons to other devices after the break.

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) the biggest tech expo of the year is being held at the moment at Las Vegas, Nevada and a lot of new gadget are being showed there some a very interesting. Case in point , The Sony Dash
The Sony Dash is a nifty little device, its a clock/internet radio/digital album built around the Chumby OS. I wanted to get a Chumby device ever since I saw one a couple if years ago I even wanted to buy one with my last order in Amazon but it wasn’t available and I had to order it via their store. I just thought I might wait to see what CES had to offer. And I’m glad I did.
So it can run more than 1000 widget that are available for the Chumby, displays time, weather and streams audio/video on its 7” capacitive touch screen.
The Sony Dash will be available in April for $200.
Kuwait’s “lets forget 2009″ List
6 Jan 2010 17 CommentsOn a more candid note after my post about 2009, somethings that might have been around before 2009, but may have gotten slightly out of hand.
Number 1 : RIM’s breakthru into the Kuwaiti market with their Blackberry’s. Its hard to have a conversation with an owner of these devices without being interrupted by furiously rapid texting or beeps emerging from the phone. Do they realize they can have the same data plan with any smartphone and use any social networking/chatting program to the same effect?

New Airport Security Regulations- Take 2
5 Jan 2010 3 CommentsWe have heard many rumors about the new security regulations that have been implemented after the failed Christmas day terrorist bombing on a flight from Amsterdam on route to Detroit. Eleventh-St had talked about her experience soon after those events and said it all went smoothly. But as of yesterday, airline groups have showed their support for new U.S. rules targeted at passengers from 14 countries in particular. It will include full body pat downs, screening of personal belongings and usage of advanced imaging machines, among other things. The countries categorized as terrorist sponsors are Cuba, Iran, Sudan and Syria. And the rest of the “countries of interest” are Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Yemen. So Kuwait is not on that list, but that doesnt mean you wont be ‘randomly selected’ for an unbiased screening procedure.

Annual Format
2 Jan 2010 6 CommentsI usually format my PC’s/Macs at least once a year to get things up and running again really smooth. I just formatted my 13” Macbook Pro installed leopard (waiting for snow leopard to arrive). I also installed Windows 7 via boot camp, had some problems with the drivers, but found some windows 7 derivers that are available on the Snow Leopard dvd via torrent.
Now everything is running great (except for the volume of the built-in speakers while using windows 7). No clutter on my desktop, and I’m using Windows 7 as my main OS on the MBP.
I love the clutter-less desktop, it wont take too long before filling it up again.

30 Dec 2009 No CommentsWarning the below video contains some explicit lyrics.I’m talkin on my bluetooth
Makin’ deals and shit
No cords are clashin

For slower connections click here for the lower resolution video.
I posted a while back about the I Am T-Pain app and how it was taking the iTunes app store by storm. Well the company who made it, Smule, had come up with a contest and were giving away a $5,000 prize to the winner. The video above called “Im on the Phone” is the winner, even though i know some people who did pretty good songs, but i guess they never won because they didnt have a music video to go along!
