The summer season is coming to a close and most of the shows are showing their finales. But are you sure they are coming back next season? Well, There’s an app for that.
RENEWED is a very nifty little app that tracks the airing and continuity of your favorite TV shows. I really wanted to know if “The Newsroom” is coming back next season and I was relieved it is.
It seesms it’s a hit and miss with the app being stable or not. There are a lot of bad reviews due to the app constantly crashing but I haven’t had that problem.
Premiering Sept. 16th, “Being: Liverpool” is the first of a new series/franchise where a tv crew is given unprecedented insider access. The series are spearheaded by multi Emmy Award-winning producer Scott Boggins (The guy behind HBO’s 24/7 a show with a similar concept). And other sport seem to be following shortly after.
“Being” gives fans a deep, thoughtful look at the superstars and teams of today from their point-of-view at a critical juncture or telling moment that shows the viewer who or what they really are. It is intended to be an all-access invitation into the personal and professional lives of some of the iconic people and institutions in today’s sports universe, always asking the question, “What is it like to be you? “
Executive producer J.J. Abrams who produced movies such as Cloverfield, Star Trek and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and TV shows such as Alias, Lost and Fringe has a new show called Revolution scheduled for release this fall season.
From the just released trailer, the show looks interesting and I hope it delivers as I’m watching less and less shows at the moment.
Or maybe its just Kevin Sorbo the star of the 90′s TV show Hercules: The Legendary Journey. He completely misreads the script. He actually reads the word disappointed, when he was supposed to “sound” disappointed.
After almost an18 months hiatus the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, is back on the TV screen. Two days ago BBC aired the first episode of their second season. The previous season was just 3 episodes, 90 minutes each. This season looks like its going to be the same.
Liam Neeson tries improv with Ricky Gervais.
There are a lot of new TV shows released this fall. Thanks to Jacqui I managed to organize and sort them out. But after watching a few of them I noticed that most of them are crap. The 2 shows that I truly recommend watching are Homeland and Persons of Interest. Pretty much what Marzouq recommends too. I have to watch Pan Am and Terra Nova to judge if I am willing to add them to my “must watch list”
This is great, especially that it can be streamed from anywhere in the world (or at least from Kuwait). I posted earlier this year that Who’s Line is it Anyway is coming back. Well, Its been broadcasting for a few months now with almost the same cast. Too bad it got canceled though. I guess its not the same without Wayne Brady.
A number of TV Shows are re-launching for the fall season. This is the promo video for the second season of the show “The Walking Dead”. I thought that the first season was “OK” but better than most of the new shows this fall season.
In the above video clip from Discovery Network’s show Sons of Guns. the challenge was for the female to fire a Desert Eagle hand gun. A really powerful hand gun that not everyone can handle. But clearly on the 1:28 mark you can see clearly that the Desert Eagle is now magically transformed into a Beretta.
A lot of respect is lost Discovery, A lot.
