The Bendaly Family
2 Sep 2009 2 CommentsThis is an old video which has been talked about on many blogs such as Frankom recently, and others before that. But i doubt when watched again you will not smile at least. From the English accent, to the haircuts, to the outfits, to the Arabic music and rhythm, to the “aywaa” shouts in the background. Its basically an Arabic music video, with Arabic singers dancing and singing an Arabic song, but in English. Confusing. This video has got it all. The video was recorded in Kuwait in 1978, and the Bendaly family are of Lebanese origin.
You can check out their official website with downloads to all their songs here.

What Games To Buy in September
1 Sep 2009 12 Comments
With Batman: Arkham Asylum released a few days ago, and it being on of the most anticipated games of the summer, now we look forward to see what September has to offer.
*Note: A lot of games have been pushed back to 1st quarter of 2010 because of the amount of games being released in this quarter. And because no company wants to release its game so close to Modern Warfare 2, which will be released in November.
In other words, My top upcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 games lists are a little outdated.
Do You Have What it Takes?
1 Sep 2009 2 CommentsAre you good enough to be an officer in the Swedish military?

These tests do not have a scientific basis – they are simply inspired by parts of the Swedish Armed Forces’ recruitment tests.
Click on the link below to see how well you do in some of the tests inspired by the recruitment process of military officers in Sweden. Make sure you have headphones or your volume up on your speakers.

*Random thought for the day : Why is it that Microsoft update their Windows for free, but you have to pay for the latest Snow Leopard which is basically the equivalent of a windows update? Why is it that many apps will stop working on the new Snow Leopard? Check them out here.

Apple Denies Exploding iPhones are Faulty
1 Sep 2009 6 CommentsWhat a surprise. Apple is saying that the news popping around of iPhones in France which have been exploding is not caused by defective devices.

In a statement to the BBC, Apple said, “The iPhones with broken glass that we have analyzed to date show that in all cases, the glass cracked due to an external force that was applied to the iPhone.”
Check out the rest of the story here.
In other Apple news, AT&T’s stronghold on the iPhone devices in the US may be loosening within a year ; it seems Apple will make the iPhone available to other carriers within that time frame. Check out the full story here.
My Special Router – The CloakBox
31 Aug 2009 8 CommentsI used Hotspot shield regularly during the last year or two, to access Hulu and any other website that needed me to be in the US. But it had its drawbacks, it’s public, so not much for security there, a bit slow and it can be used only on a PC or Mac.

I really wanted something similar for my Xbox 360 and PS3, so that I can download all the stuff that I want without restrictions, even certain game add-ons can’t be downloaded.
