George W. Bush in Haiti

We have posted about George W. more than once here on this blog. And if you think the guy will be forgotten just because he is no longer the president of the United States of America you are wrong. The guy is full of surprises.

Take this video for example. George Bush and Bill Clinton visit Haiti recently while mingling with the crowed George shakes the hand of a Haitian and then wipes it with Bill’s shirt. Very classy George.

They shoulld do a series on this guy, you know like "إسماعيل يس" like "إسماعيل يس في الجيش" or "إسماعيل يس في البوليس" and "إسماعيل يس في متحف الشمع". Think about it.

iPad Compatible Apps

It starts, the first iPhone app on my iPhone to get a compatibility update is Ocarina. I’m sure during the next few weeks iPhone owner will be getting a ton of updates.

Student Arrested in Class

A student was arrested after throwing a water bottle at another student, threatening the class and teacher and resisting arrest after campus police asked her 3 times to leave with them.

I wonder what will happen if a teacher here in Kuwait calls the campus police to “escort” a student out of the class?? I bet one of the things that will be coming out of his mouth is “والله أسفرك” :)

Chatroulette To The Next Level

Last week, a rogue piano player took Chatroulette by storm(above video), performing improvised tunes to the delight of most of his chat partners. He was so good that there was speculation that he was in fact Ben Folds in disguise. The rumor was quickly put to rest, but not before it reached Folds, himself.

At a concert last night in North Carolina, Folds broke out the webcam and performed an ode to the "piano improv guy," belting out on-the-spot songs to his Chatroulette partners and 2000 screaming fans. None of the Chatroulette regulars (perverts) popped up on the other end, but he was treated to a guy on the toilet.

Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

So mark your calendars people, we will be switching off all unnecessary lights for 1 hour on March 27th. So we will be watching Bolton vs Man Utd match in the dark :)

White Castle – New York City

While looking through some old photos, I stumbled upon some pictures that I took in New York last year. They were of White Castle. The place was located on 8th Avenue. The burgers were nice and they serve the order very fast, I had 3 slyders and fries. I wanted to try out White Castel ever since I saw the movie Harold & Kumar Go To White Castel (IMDB). I really liked my experience there, The slyders where good and they came in nifty little square boxes. 

They serve a verity of burgers not just one kind of slyder. nothing that great but they do serve chicken, fish alongside the traditional burger,cheeseburger and bacon.

I have to mention that White Castel is the inventor of the modern Slyders/sliders burgers (mini burgers).
